Really was a perfect weekend. Last night I sat by our fireplace and fell in love with the warmth of it. Winter seems to have arrived in Norman Oklahoma and if it has I am making our fireplace my new best friend!
we have a gas fireplace (this is not it, this is just an image of a gas fireplace). how do we feel about gas fireplaces?? no crakle of the wood logs...but...you don't have to wait for any embers to go out...

Amanda's mom has a gas fireplace. They are easy and WARM! So I feel good about them.
#7 sounds scandalous! :) And I wish we needed a fireplace in NY! It's been crazy warm. We haven't turned our heater on at all yet. Can you believe that?
not meant to be scandalous...whoops. i started watching project runway and then never fell asleep. ha. it was 80 degrees the weekend before here! where is winter?!?!
