this is my first margarita of the week. ps. look at how the ocean winds are playing with my hair.



we napped almost every day under a cabana. this is the ocean we looked at for a week straight. it was magical.

this night there was a wedding on the beach. we tried to send the bride and groom shots but the bartender told us we had to deliver themselves...long story short...they didn't make it to the bride and groom.

that saturday on the end is september 25th. yes, the day. our day. the BIG day. the day we've been planning for 8 months now. we checked the farmer's almanac. it said it was going to be a clear day. i have been preparing myself all along for rain, but not for thunderstorms. what do you do when there are thunderstorms, is it even safe for people to be under a tent during a thunderstorm? i guess the weather men are always wrong?

one month - one day = wedding

weird. actually surreal might be a better word. yesterday was the mark. one month away.

so much to do still but loving every minute of it.

Liz Darter, the now Liz Evans, was married on Saturday! What?! I know....it is hard to believe that August 7th has come and gone. It was such a big deal to me because I was very fortunate to get to join in on a lot of the planning with Liz. She was so beautiful. Like cover of Vogue. Jarod was so cool & handsome and the wedding and reception were so them. Simple, yet so amazing in the details. The night was one to remember and my neck still hurts from dancing so hard.

do you ever love something so much you feel dorky about it? i think this one is warranted but i still feel giddy when i think about someone giving me something this amazing. i have been having some bad days lately. bad in the sense that they are busy - too busy and i don't foresee an end to these days anytime soon. but....lately when i'm at work (because this is where most of my bad days originate) i look down at this thing on my finger and i can't help but see past these busy days and into my future. it is very calming and i am so (!) looking forward to some calm days (especially as mrs. scott!). and that thing is gorgeous.

Seth and I are going to be the proud owners of this house. Not so pretty right now but it is gonna be awesome! First order of business as home owners - remove that bush.
